OpsBrain/Cashflow
Early access — running daily in a live store

What you actually kept,
today at close.

Your POS talks all day about sales. OpsBrain Cashflow prints the other number — net sales minus real COGS minus labor minus fixed — the moment the drawer closes. The daily close, as a receipt.

The real number

Receipt Nº1 — The Daily Close

Every night at close, Cashflow does the math your month-end spreadsheet hides — and prints the one line that pays you.

Feature — Daily net · Real COGS
OPSBRAIN CASHFLOW — DAILY CLOSETODAY
STORE: YOURSREGISTER: 001
Today's truth
NET SALES$4,210.00
REAL COGS · 28% (FROM INVOICES, NOT ESTIMATES)−$1,179.00
LABOR · 21%−$884.00
FIXED (DAILY)−$307.00
YOU KEEP$1,840.00
NOT THE SALES NUMBER. THE ONE THAT PAYS YOU.
Sales was $4,210 today. Your group chat will hear about it. But $2,370 of it already belongs to your vendors, your team, and your landlord — $1,840 is yours. Cashflow tells you that tonight, not on the 15th of next month.
What Cashflow does

Seven things, in plain words.

Skim this. Every line is a shipped feature — and the receipts on this page prove each one.

Blind drawer counts + photo evidence

Catch a short drawer tonight. The counter never sees the target, and photos prove every count.

Daily net at close

Know what you actually kept before you lock the door.

Real COGS from your scanned invoices

Your P&L uses what you paid, not estimates — fed by OpsBrain Inventory.

Snap your Toast summary

AI reads the end-of-day report. Works day one — no POS install.

Budget pacing

See mid-month whether the month is on plan.

Forecast + drift warnings, with order & labor recommendations

Get warned while the month can still be fixed — and told which lever to pull.

Monthly Close P&L

Schedule-driven fixed costs, full-wage labor, documents reconciled. A close you can trust.

Early access · personal onboardingTalk to us

Sales are vanity.

The number on the leaderboard, the number in the group chat, the number the franchisor congratulates you on — none of them pay your rent. The homepage made you a promise. This page is where it pays off.

Receipt Nº2 — The Drawer

Blind counts: the counter never sees the target, so the drawer can't be counted to match it. Variance gets flagged the same night — with evidence.

Feature — Blind count · Photo evidence · Safe count · Rebalance
CASH COUNT — CLOSE OF DAYDRAWER 01
The blind count
EXPECTED CASH (FROM SALES)$612.00
COUNTED — BLIND$598.50
Short $13.50

SAFE COUNT$2,400.00 ✓
DRAWER REBALANCED — SMART SPLIT
FLOAT RESET FOR TOMORROW$200.00
Works with your Toast summary today — snap it, AI reads it. Enter or snap your end-of-day summary and the close runs against real COGS from your invoices. No POS installation required.
Run it from anywhere

Your team counts. You review from anywhere.

Built for multi-unit operators and owners who aren't standing in the store at close.

  • Role permissions — staff count, managers close, owners see everything
  • Blind counts — the counter never sees the target
  • Photo evidence — every count photographed and attached

Receipt Nº3 — Tomorrow, Predicted

Budget pacing and a forecast that warns you while the month can still be fixed — tomorrow's receipt, printed a day early.

Feature — Budget pacing · Forecast · Drift warnings
BUDGET PACING — MONTH TO DATEDAY 19
Where the month is heading
MTD NET SALES$86,300
PLAN, MONTH TO DATE$84,900
PACING+1.6% AHEAD
DRIFT WARNING FIRES BEFORE THE MONTH DECIDES
Tomorrow's receipt, predicted
FORECAST NET SALES$4,480.00
FORECAST YOU KEEP$1,960.00
The forecast learns your store's rhythm — day of week, season, trend. When a day starts drifting off its number, you hear about it while you can still do something about it.
Why the math is real

Inventory reads the invoice. Cashflow closes the day on real COGS.

Every estimate-based P&L tool guesses your food cost. OpsBrain doesn't have to — the invoice you scanned this morning prices tonight's close.

01 · Inventory
Snap the delivery invoice — AI reads every line.
02 · Line prices
Real, paid case prices land on every item.
03 · Cashflow
Tonight's close runs on what you actually paid.

SYNTHETIC NUMBERS — YOUR RECEIPT PRINTS YOUR OWN
OPERATOR·TO·OPERATOR

Net is survival.

Every operator who's lost sleep over a strong-sales, empty-bank-account month already knows it. Cashflow just puts the number where you can see it — every single night.

Cashflow FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does OpsBrain Cashflow cost?

Cashflow is in early access: we onboard operators personally, scope the modules to your store — daily close, drawer counts, pacing, Monthly Close — and set pricing with you, operator to operator. Join through the form and we'll talk.

What does early access mean?

Cashflow runs daily in a live store today — the daily close, blind drawer counts, photo evidence, safe counts, budget pacing, and the Monthly Close are in production use. Early access means we onboard operators personally, in small batches, and the product is still moving fast. There is no self-serve signup yet.

Does Cashflow work with Toast?

Works with your Toast summary today — snap it, AI reads it. Enter or snap your end-of-day summary and Cashflow runs the math against real COGS from your invoices. No POS installation required.

What is a blind cash drawer count?

The counter never sees the expected total — they just count what's in the drawer. Cashflow compares the blind count to the expected cash from sales and flags the variance, with photo evidence and a safe count attached. You find drawer problems the same night, not at month-end.

Do I need OpsBrain Inventory to use Cashflow?

No — Cashflow works on its own. But the daily close is strongest with real COGS from scanned invoices, which is what Inventory feeds it. That's why the Both Apps bundle exists — one conversation covers both. See what Inventory catches →
